Dr. Catherine Braun is a board-eligible Obstetrician and Gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for women at every stage in life.

Dr. Braun is from Mineola, New York. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University. She then received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where she stayed and completed her residency training. She received extensive training in high and low risk obstetrics, preventative medicine, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has completed her Robotic Surgery certification on the Da Vinci robotic surgical system and is interested in continuing to provide surgical care to her patients. Dr. Braun has now returned to the area and is excited to provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to patients of all ages.

In her free time, Dr. Braun enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching sci-fi movies.

As the newest member of Long Island Women’s Healthcare Group, Dr. Braun looks forward to providing exceptional care and supporting the health and wellbeing of women throughout the local community.
