How does the O-Shot® work?

The O-Shot® works by using the body’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate itself by injecting growth factor rich Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the vagina to stimulate a regenerative process. A small amount of blood is taken from the arm and then placed in a centrifuge where the plasma contains cell-regenerating growth factors which, when injected in to the vagina, trigger stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue.

Am I suitable for this treatment?

Many women suffer in silence when it comes to talking about sexual problems. Menopause, childbirth and even the natural aging process can result in a loss of sensation, decreased sexual enjoyment and functional issues in the vaginal region. The 0-Shot® treatment can also improve function and relieve conditions such as stress urinary incontinence.

Does it hurt?

As a non-surgical solution, there is minimal pain and discomfort associated with the 0-Shot® treatment with some patients reporting experiencing no pain at all. You will receive a numbing cream applied to the treatment area. You may feel slight pressure of the PRP blood entering the vaginal walls.

What kind of results can I expect?

You will be able to see and feel some of the results within just 48 hours of the treatment. Wetness and vaginal tightness will be dramatically improved. You may resume normal activity immediately after the 0-Shot®.

How long does the treatment last?

One treatment will last one year or more. Recent studies have shown that the effects of the 0-Shot can last up to five years.
